Maison Clannie began with a small piece of inspiration born inside a family.
2005 — THE ORIGIN
When we hand a piece to a customer, we quietly place a little crown on them in our minds, wishing them a good day.
A small moment of joy, every day.
This drawing became the Floats! logo.
In every picture he drew,
our son always added a crown.
People, animals, anything at all — the crown was a gift to whatever he was drawing. That spirit is where Maison Clannie began.our son always added a crown.

Through years of jewellery making, a custom toe ring commission in 2007 opened our eyes to what jewellery for the feet could be. After many prototypes and refinements we arrived at a toe ring structure that is genuinely comfortable to wear. In 2009 we patented it, and Floats! — an accessory brand that starts at your feet — was born.
In 2015, moff moff was born — a plush companion that wears jewellery.
As the pandemic wore people down and anxiety spread, it came to be loved as a source of comfort.
That is how the fluffy bag-charm brand moff closet® and moff moff san® came about.

History
Our History
1986 VIVAN Ltd. founded VIVAN means "lively" — a wish that everyone shine as themselves.
1993 Jewellery salon opens in Minami-Aoyama Opened the jewellery salon bijoux VIVAN in Minami-Aoyama.
2005 The drawing that became our origin A drawing by our son — a crowned character and a star — became the inspiration for Maison Clannie.
2007 The idea for the toe ring A custom toe ring commission led us into the world of jewellery for the feet. Repeated prototyping and refinement produced our own patented structure.
2009 Patent granted · Floats! launched Patented our comfortable toe ring structure. Floats!, a playful accessory brand that starts at your feet, was born.
2009〜 Renamed Clannie Japan Co., Ltd. VIVAN Ltd. became Clannie Japan Co., Ltd., and the brand moved forward as Maison Clannie.
2015 moff moff is born moff moff was born as a plush companion that wears jewellery. Through the pandemic years of the 2020s it came to be widely loved as a source of comfort.
2025 moff closet becomes its own brand The fluffy bag-charm brand moff closet® became independent, opening a new chapter of joy and comfort.
